The Arts and Recreation Department is committed to providing meaningful, enriching experiences for all participants. After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to place a temporary pause on our Senior Travel Program.
Why pause the program?
This decision comes in response to rising transportation costs, which make delivering these high-quality, affordable trips our community expects and deserves increasingly challenging. While interest in our travel programs remains strong, these escalating expenses make it unsustainable for us to continue offering them in their current form.
We recognize the value this program brings to our senior participants and will continue to explore alternative opportunities that support connection, engagement, and adventure in a more sustainable way.
What about my 2025 Travel Membership?
Participants who have not used their purchased travel membership will be refunded. If you do not receive a refund by July 14th please contact our office at (925)295-1490.
Where else can I find senior travel options near me?
You may find other opportunities for travel with the Pleasant Hill Senior Travel Program, Concord Senior Center Travel Program, Moraga Travel program, or other local cities.
