Walnut Creek Intermediate
The After School Sports Program at Walnut Creek Intermediate is offered through the City of Walnut Creek’s Recreation Department. The program is designed to provide opportunities for students to participate in sports while enrolled as a student at WCI or Tice Creek School.
Our program allows students an opportunity to acquire and practice new skills, make new friends, learn, and model good sportsmanship, and to compete. Boys/Girls/Co-ed competitive teams, intramural teams, and training blocks are offered.
Introducing: STUNT the Sport Winter Clinic!
Join us for our first ever STUNT program, hosted at Tice Creek School. Available for WCI and Tice Creek students from all skill levels. Learn skill based routines and prepare for a performance at the end of the program!

After School Sports x Positive Coaching Alliance
New partnership alert! The After School Sports team is ecstatic to be partnered with the Positive Coaching Alliance, an agency that will provide our directors and coaching staff on how to meet the social and emotional needs of our athletes while empowering them to success. Through these trainings our coaching staff will up their game to better position themselves as effective leaders and mentors for our participants.
After School Sports is Back!
We are so excited to be back on campus at WCI offering another year of After School Sports! Last season we offered 12 programs for over 250 students. While we consider this a success, we have plans to make this coming year even bigger and better. By adding new programs like Flag Football, Functional Fit
