The Assembly Hall is a versatile space for many events including indoor and outdoor wedding ceremonies, rehearsal dinners & pre-wedding celebrations, birthday & anniversary parties, baby showers, bridal showers, fundraisers, holiday gatherings and celebrations of life. Its downtown location also makes it the perfect spot for business events, meetings, trainings and vendor marketplaces or exhibitions. The Civic Park Community Center hosts a large variety of recreation classes, senior & social services programs, and adaptive recreation programs daily.

Civic Park Community Center offers the best of both worlds. The location is nestled among redwood and oak trees, close to Walnut Creek’s vibrant downtown. The park’s lush setting offers a lovely, scenic backdrop for photography and video.

The Assembly Hall’s interior is a blank slate for you to bring your vision to life with decorations, arrangements and audio. You and your guests have plenty of space for dining, mingling, and dancing in the main room. This venue has immediate access to spacious grassy areas and a large, lovely gazebo. The gazebo is available as a separate rental or can be added to your Assembly Hall rental for a flat rate, pending its availability.
