Status of Pool Openings and Closures

Clarke Swim Center heater update: 

Clarke Swim Center repairs have been completed! Both heaters are now functioning and the pool is holding temperature.

We will re-open for regular programming starting today, Tuesday January 13, 2026 at 4:00pm (Team use 4pm – 7pm and Public Lap Swim 7pm – 8pm).

  • The pool will be long course until February 12th.
  • Water Exercise will resume in lane 1 starting tomorrow 8:15am – 9:00am (long course) and deep water from 9:15am – 10:00am.
  • The pool may be a bit warmer tomorrow morning than usual and we will continue to adjust the temperature tomorrow.
  • Larkey will return to its regular youth team programming and public swim will no longer be available for the off-season.

Pools

The 50-meter heated pool is open year-round and offers these programs:

  • Adult lap swim, ages 13+
  • Water exercise courses, ages 13+
  • Recreational swim, all ages
  • Swim lessons, ages 10 months to adult (group and private held in spring, summer and fall

The 25-meter heated pool with diving board is open during the summer for swim lessons and recreational swim. It is used year-round for synchronized swim practice.

The 3-foot heated Baby Pool is open during the summer, spring and fall for swim lessons.

Amenities

  • Inflatable Obstacle Courses: Floating obstacles courses are available during summer recreational swim hours. Swimmers of all ages can climb, slide and make a big splash from the rope swing. Swimmers must be able to comfortably tread water, swim 25 yards, recover from a deep-water entry and swim to the side of the pool.
    • Fees: Swimmers pay a $3 Splash Pass fee that is added to their daily admission fee.
    • Rules: For safety reasons, there are no jewelry or piercings, goggles, life jackets or street clothes allowed on the obstacle courses.

    • Inflatables subject to being taken down to staff availability, programming changes, or extreme temperatures 
  • Covered outdoor picnic areas: We have picnic seats and benches and a grassy hill where guests can rest and eat. (No glass or alcohol allowed)
  • Locker rooms and showers: ADA accessible.
