Celebrate Pride month with Arts + Rec
June is Pride Month! This June, show off your Pride throughout Walnut Creek with fun events honoring the LGBTQIA+ community and allies. 🏳️🌈 Some events include Pride Flag Raising, Pride Public Art Walking Tour, Drag Queen Bingo, and Pride Mixer. As well as events, all through June Arts + Rec is introducing a Community Pride Chain, an interactive installation celebrating the voices, stories, and Pride of our community.

Fiesta Cultural is a series of vibrant events and performances at Walnut Creek's Lesher Center for the Arts. Activities will include a world-class Headliners performance on Friday evening and a free street fair surrounding the Lesher Center for the Arts in downtown Walnut Creek on Saturday with music and dance.
Aztec Stories in Modern Mexico: An Inocencio Jiménez Chino Retrospective Now through June 28
Jiménez Chino’s first-ever retrospective, this exhibition traces the artist’s evolution from early works on board to protest line drawings from the 1990s and newly completed narrative amate paintings that capture, with remarkable intimacy and detail, daily life in the Balsas River basin of Guerrero, Mexico.
