Field Lights Coming to Tice Valley Community Park

City Staff recently met with Musco Lighting for the Tice Valley Park sports field lighting project, which is scheduled to start on April 7. Once construction begins, the main driveway and portions of the parking lot will be closed to the public. Traffic will be detoured to the second driveway and will remain open throughout construction. The parking lot will remain open for daily use.

Field irrigation operations will pause on May 26, allowing time for the field to dry in preparation for construction. Anticipated sports field closure dates are from June 9 through July 9 for light pole and foundation installation. However, minimal disruption is expected of the play structures, public restrooms, and Tice Gym.

The Tice Lights project is funded by Measure O and City Staff will continue to provide regular updates as the project moves forward.
